Welcome to the Trego County Fair Website. Summer is just around the corner and with summer comes the Trego County Fair: the fair with something for everyone. The fair dates for this year are July 22nd-27th, 2009. This year's fair has many exciting events!

If you are a business owner, we cordially invite you to commercially display your merchandise, show off your business, tell the community what your organization is all about, or perhaps let the community know that your services are available. And what better way to do that than in the course of one week at the Trego County Fair?

If you're looking for entertainment, the Trego County Fair in Wakeeney is the place to be in July. We have many exciting events scheduled for the week of the fair. Friday evening Country Western Singer Rick Trevino will take center stage. Look for the Fun'D Raiser Car Show (Register now by clicking here.), the variety act Flying Debris, and the talent show following the parade in downtown WaKeeney. 4-H and Open Class exhibits will be viewable in the Exhibit Building and commercial displays will be held in the Commercial Building. At the 2008 fair there was a 42% increase in entries in both 4-H and Open Class exhibits. The Trego Community High School industrial arts class is hard at work creating two new booth spaces again this year. Help make the fair better by submitting your exhibit this year!

With 2010 marking the Trego County Fair 100th Anniversary, corporate sponsorship will be helping us to bring in a headliner musical act as well as a carnival. Current sponsors include WW Drilling.
