All School Reunion


Dear TCHS Alumni:

As many of you already have heard alumni class reunions have been changed to August 6, 2011 to coincide with the Trego County Fair. The class reunions held during the fair last year were so successfull we have decided to continue this change every year.

The day will be kicked off with with the Trego County Fair Parade starting at 10:00 a.m., which will end up at the fairgrounds.We are encouraging classes to get together and participate in the parade with a float of your class.These floats will be judged and prizes will be awarded in several different catergories. We will have a tent with water misters set up at the fairgrounds for classes to mingle and reminisce. we are encouraging past and present teachers to stop in and visit with alumni, so if you are in contact with any former teachers please let them know. The fairboard has informed us there will be a larger tent than we had last year and a portable dance floor for the dance that evening.

For those of you with children and grandchildren the Trego County Fair will be having a carnival again. Lewellen amusements will be here that week from August 3-6. This is a very nice carnival, so if you can you should come earlier in the week so your whole family can enjoy all the events the fair has to offer.

The carnival will have 14 rides for children to enjoy. Armbands will be offered each night from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and also on Sat.12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Armband coupons may be purchased in advance for $20.00 or at the gate for $25.00. Prepurchased armbands may be exchanged for one armband at the gate for any four one hour session.

If any individual or classes would like to donate or sponsor an event for the fair, please let us know or contact a fair- board member.Any donations would greatly be appreciated!
